Redefining Teamwork

Facilitation

You’ve got a group of people who need to maximize their meeting time. Whether it’s an annual planning meeting, a team-building session, or an ongoing workgroup, careful planning and flawless execution produce results from the time you spend together.

“Liz stepped in at the last minute to design and facilitate a fair, inclusive process for a high-profile, pressure-cooker of a meeting. That meeting could have been a disaster for our organization, but Liz made it look easy. Her sense of humor and skill made a high-performing team out of 12 people who had never before met. Their confidence in the decision they made it easy for leadership to act on their recommendations and for the organization to embrace them. Without Liz, we’d still be meeting!” -Libbi Lepow, Director, Organization Development, ETrade

You can expect an Extraordinary Meeting

We’ll approach agenda planning as though it were a project plan, first determining the outcome you want, then finding the best way to achieve them. You can expect to spend about as much time planning the meeting as you spend in the meeting; less for a simple meeting, more for a meeting that is long or complex.

In the meeting, I leave all the content decisions to you. I focus on helping you reach your outcome. I’ll help the group set ground rules, and make sure they use them, I help keep the group energized and focused, changing the process as needed. I watch for difficult behaviors and model how to work with these in the most helpful and productive way.

Toward the end of the meeting, we’ll make an action plan, with tasks, deadlines and a person responsible for each. Then we’ll evaluate the meeting and agree on how to improve the next one.

It’s easy to find out if I can help make your meeting extraordinary. Use this form to schedule a free 30-minute consultation with me.
