Individual Coaching
Expected Results
Coaching is the gold standard for targeted, rapid and long-lasting behavior change. Interactions become more effective and the changes stick. Work gets easier and more fun.
Structure
We start with a free i60-minute intake session where we decide whether we’re a good match, then agree on your objectives and coaching schedule that fits. The coaching schedule can vary from 30mins/week to an hour a quarter and anything in between.
We’ll evaluate our progress every 90 days, and decide whether to continue.
When your boss refers you
If your boss refers you for coaching, all three of us will agree on the objectives and schedule as well as a plan for managing our 3-way relationship and evaluating the coaching for results. The goal here is to provide your boss assurance that the right solution is in progress, me the freedom to work effectively, and you the privacy you need to work safely.
Team Coaching
Coaching the entire team as it works makes group interactions their most productive. Helpful for new teams as well as mature teams; even extremely dysfunctional teams benefit from coaching.
Expected Results
To dramatically and irrevocably improve team productivity in their meetings, especially when training and facilitation have not yielded the long-term gains you hoped they would.
Structure
After we talk and team coaching looks like the right intervention, I observe the group for a meeting or two to confirm our decision. At the end of my observation, I conduct a meeting evaluation and let the group know what I observed. I make a point of noticing strengths as well as weaknesses. If it seems I’m a fit with your group, we set up a schedule.
In general, I attend about 75% of your meetings, starting at 100% and tapering off over time. During the meeting, I offer observations and suggestions and may move in to coach an individual or pair if the situation warrants. There will be an occasional teaching piece – some information that would help the group at it’s current level of function.
